Might be a loose exhaust baffle.

"Might be a loose exhaust baffle."

Yer they can rattle a bit if loose inside as exhausts rust more from the inside than outside in due to water collection.
Some times you can gently tap the exhaust when cold with a rubber mallet and can hear it rattle

Had one go once on a Bedford CA - rattled for about a month then one day a loud bang - the baffle had come loose and blocked the tailpipe. so the pressure blew a hole in the silencer. Surely they make them to a better design nowadays though???
