England 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Zermatt Silver

The off side fixings are defined by the towing eye bracket so unless this is actually removed (as some makers do) they will be all the same. The nearside fixing has more options as it has to be part of the towbar kit although I suspect most will just copy the offside (why re-invent what is there already).

When reprogrammed for the trailer the ECU will interrogate the hitch controller to see if something is attached, of course now I have removed the box it gets no answer so throws up the PDC error. I could just plug it in and leave it in the spare wheel well until Tuesday.

Mine is the OEM LR/Brink bar and the FoMoCo TTU so hopefully they won't get sniffy about reprogramming the car.

When I bought the current car the (non LR) garage made up plates for the caravan (sorry CG) and trailer FOC as a customer service. The new dealer wants £19 for an extra pair of plates Censored Prog rock is cool! Smile
