Deatatched rear view mirror - HELP PLEASE

Hi

My wife has been heavy handed with the rear view mirror and it has come away from its mounting (on the windscreen)!

Can anyone give me any tips as am loathed to see a "specialist" as it recommends in the handbook!

I try and put it on andthe mounting bracket doesnt seem to fit!!

IF ANYONE INTERESTED BASICALLY APPROACH THE HEXAGON NUT (attached to the windscreen) WITH THE MIRROR in right position then TURN 75-80 degrees then turn quickly back to correct position. it should catch on the angle of the hexagon nut and force it on...
