well one of my caravan friends has a Kia Sorento 4x4 2.5 auto. Tows the van a dream Thirsty on fuel, worse than FR2. Reliability has been really good compared with my FR2.

He broke down last year returning from France, 1 St breakdown though in 4.5 years old. New fuel tank, HP pump and injectors all replaced under warranty , due to the tank lining de-laminating. No questions no excuses about French fuel just fixed. Thumbs Up

"To be honest, it may not cost Land Rover a huge amount more to give the longer warranty, when you read the posts on here, most work has been carried out in the first 3 years.

To offer a 5 or 7 year warranty just sends out the right message about how confident a manufactorer is about its product."

Spot on wizzking Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Perhaps Kia have the same reliability issues just sell fewer so don't have as much to spend on warranty claims Confused

Would be nice to think so Thumbs Up

Depends what the warranty covers, theres always lots of get out clauses in the small print, like its all void if you use the car. Laughing

sod the warranty

the adverts is Censored it makes me smugly think "Mine could do that" after each statement

its annoying, if i wanted to know how good my LR is watching a Kia advert is working wonders

saying that its better than the latest Range Rover Sport ad, which you just think "WTF Oh a RRS advert" when it ends Rolling with laughter

I like the advert, the 4x4 adverts in general are a bit predictable.

For those of you who have not had the pleasure, and especially for pinky, see below;
