Taillight not working

I am owner of new FL2 SD4 HSE and also a new member of this forum. I am having a situation when one of the taillights is not working. i have taken the same to the workshop to get it diagnosed. Funny part is that bulb is working and there is no apparent issue with the connections. After 2 hours the mechanic gave up and said that he will query the HQ and i should come back later. he feels it is possibly a software issue.

Just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue in past. Free bird

I have a seen couple members having this problem, sadly they could not find the fault, had to get the dealer to fix it but they never reported back how it was resolved. They have swapped the lamps over and the problem is still there Question

Unfortunately there are no fuses, they are fed from the 'CEM' (Central Electronics Module) through FET's (Field Effect Transistors) direct to the lamps.
If connections are not the culprit then its a visit to the dealer.

thanks

It seems the wiring system is more complicated than anticiapted. i had taken the car to the dealer earlier but he couldnot diagnose the same saying he will have to contact the UK HQ. Let me pay them another visit. Free bird

Don't you just love LR Dealers, they think you have nothing better to do than keep visiting them and seem surprised that you are inconvenienced by this and that you actually need the vehicle Rolling Eyes
