Chipping

Anyone chipped a td4 auto?What do you think of the mod?How much more power, and what affect has it had on fuel consumption? Stornaway grey SE auto with 18" alloys

You would invalidte the warrantry on the engine and associated items

Over on RRSport they have just had a disscussion on chipping TDV6 and TDV8 and somebody responded that he had just seen a memo at the dealership stating that any chipped car should not be fixed under warrenty and if any dealers who sold chipped cars (some did this as part of the sale) should remove the details from there systems.

So if they are having this stance with RRS they are sure to have it on FL2's.

There are a few other posts on the subject so do a search on tuning or similar if you cant wait for your warranty to expire.. Thumbs Up '57 GS TD4 in Stornoway. Privacy, Leather, Tred Cills. From ebay etc.. 18" 12 spoke HSE alloys, rear spoiler, clear side repeaters with clear leds, led interior light to replace bulbs, sports exhaust trim, TomTom 720.
