And how exactly are you going to get the LR satnav to display them and alert you Question Or are you gong to drive around looking at your satnav screen and no the road Rolling Eyes

I thought there were already some POIs on the FL system? I rarely use it, as it is my wife's car, but I may be confusing it with my car?

There is poi in the LR system but it doesn't beep to let you know you have driven past one, so I doubt it would if the speed cameras could be added

Why does it continuiosly try to take you off the main road when it is both shortest and quickest?

It's a Land Rover and likes to take the scenic route through fields and farmyards and down narrow country lanes - at least that's what mine does Laughing 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

Previous Land Rovers:

England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

Just resurrecting this thread.

Most sat nav systems have some form of operating system, very often either Windows CE or Linux in some cut down format. Does the DVD system have something the same. Somewhere there has to be some form of memory to save setting, locations etc as well.

I've not been able to locate the model number of the under the seat DVD. Is it just for loading the Sat Nav disk or can it be used for anything else?

Would love to investigate this further (sadly I am a bit of a computer geek in my spare time lol)
