At present, by the on-board computer. I may cross check the accuracy on my next fill-up. |

David, if you press the button (i) on the end of the l/h indicator stalk it will cycle through a number of measurements which are displayed on the dash panel which also shows the outside temperature.

Car was delivered with a full tank of fuel (not). As soon as I drove away from the dealer's premises I realized there was room in the tank for a few more litres, so I topped it up straight away (with 15 litres) to give me a reliable starting point.

Anyone know what the quoted mpg is for the TD4 Auto? I am wanting to order a FL2 but fancy waiting for the Auto if the economy is close to manual. |

I've filled up a number of times now and the computer figures compare well with 'top up to top up' calculations.

The past week has seen a mixture of journeys (but no motorways) and I've used a full tank. Just filled up, after 559 miles, with 69 litres of Tescos best, which calculates to 36.9 mpg; I'm very pleased with that. |
