England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Santorini Black

I have the Witter flange removable tow bar. Ordered it through the Witter web site. With 13 pin electrics and car reprog cost £525. Very neat fit with no bumper cutting. If you need the special towball for the Alko stabiliser this is easily fitted to the flange. Towbar and cable stows under the boot floor alongside the full size spare whee. 2007 TD4 SE Manual Santrini Black

From the pictures the receiver and towball including the knob for removing it look identical to the Brink/Thule/LR one that has given lots of problems with play, yet I haven't heard of one of the Witter ones developing a fault.

I've got the witter swan neck detatchable tow bar fitted, had no problems so far Thumbs Up £304 from PF Jones fitted it myself but did not need to program electrics.

Hi
My local supplier is qouting £599inc vat for fitted Witter detachable flange towbar and 13pin dedicated electrics. But this does not include reprogramming.

Witter is qouting £537inc vat fitted but does not say if its dedicated electrics and reprogramming.

Peasemold is this the option you have. If so does the dash board light come on when indicating?

Considering even fitting it myself. Parts from PFJones £352.50. From what i have read on other threads it may not even need reprogramming.

Have the car now so need to get one fitted soon.
Cheers.

Sorry, been away.

I ordered it through the Witter website which gave me various tick box options for the spec required. I was then offered various local companies to get it fitted and picked the one with the time that suited me. The Witter website was £50 cheaper than going direct to the fitting company I had chosen. Dedicated electrics and reprog included. Trailer light oin dashboard works, car beeps in time with the flasher, parking sensors switched of and I think fog and reversing lights disabled. 2007 TD4 SE Manual Santrini Black

Thought you only needed one warning, a light flashing OR a beep

(FYI - My LR one just has the light warning) Thumbs Up
