Sat nav voice is reallyyyy quiet!

Ok so without the risk of sounding dumb I've looked and i cant find a way to turn the voice on the sat nav up. Its been fine for the past 2 months then suddenly when i went to use it the other day it loaded up fine but whilst giving directions it dims the stereo and says the directions reallyyyyyyyyyyyy quiet! :S It use to dim the stereo and say the directions at a normal volume but now its pathetic I cant here anything!

When you are being given a direction just turn the volume up on the radio. It will store this as the voice volume. Same thing when using the phone, you can adjust the volume without affecting the radio or CD's etc

No probs with my tomtom. I have got Homer Simpson voice on mine. Not to everyone's taste but I think it's great Laughing LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Ref satnav voices. We have a TOMTOM20 satnav and being Scottish downloaded the voice of Billy Connolly for our directions.
Don' really need the Satnav most of the time but SWMBO and i have a good laugh at the type of directions you receive.
Go onto TOMTOM and look(listen) at the range of voices available.
