I am really shocked! Shocked

The Evoque isn't my thing, but at least it looks great in a Judge Dread sort of way.

However, as a cabrio, it has all the style and panache of a wardrobe that been placed flat on its back. There's just no shape to it and, to my surprise, it doesn't work Sad Sorry!

I like it Thumbs Up open top and a high enough seat so I can indulge a farmers favourite pastime, peering over hedges as I drive to see if other farmers crops are as good as mine Very Happy At work

So Land Rover carves another nich in the market for 4x4 convertables. If it sells more vehicles then that has to be good for the company. It would be really enhanced with more power, whereas 190 bhp is the most I would want in the Freelander, the Evoque chassis mst be good for 300 bhp. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury Corris Grey

Now that has quite amazed me! When the question was posted "How do you improve the Evoque?" my first thought was "Take a chainsaw to it!" I think it's the ugliest thing Land Rover have ever made Evil or Very Mad

BUT - when you DO take a chainsaw to it CAREFULLY and whip the roof off like that - I want one Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

It would be good to see a photo of what it looks like in the roof-closed position. Is is a soft top or a hard top? If it's a hard top then the danger is it will look like the original Censored model.

Is there a high-speed flip-up anti roll bar fitted? If so then off-roading wouldn't be quite so dangerous as it seems.

Mind you, I still think a 2-wheel drive LR is the motoring equivalent of the chocolate fireguard - it might look good but......... Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

if it is a hard top folding roof by the time that folded into the boot there wont be enough room left for a shopping bag BUT i guess a pair of scissors and comb will be enough for a hairdressers car anyway Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 1995 P38 now dead
