On mine just press both mirror buttons together to fold/unfold the door mirrors. Mine: Freelander 2 HSE, 08. Santorini Black/Alpaca Leather, privacy glass, side steps. |

On my MY11 SD4 the mirrors can be folded at speeds well above 12MPH. I have not tested them at high speed but certainly up to 30 MPH as I do it regularly on a twisty, narrow road. A point to note is that if you fold the mirrors manually and then lock the car they will not unfold automatically when you open the car. |

The mirrors on the Freelander2 will 'fold' right up to the legal limit speed limit. And as an aside you'll be surprised how much wind noise is reduced! |

Yep, at least on my 2008 model you can fold the mirrors up to 70mph. After that (apparently, cough!) they won't fold. 2008 FL2 TD4 XS Zermatt Silver, Manual

Pray tell me how does the FL2 know when it is at the "legal speed limit"? ![]() ![]() It would need some very clever software and cameras to react to whatever the speed limit is on various stretches of road - and - how does Mr Pinks' FL2.2 diffrentiate between the legal speed limits in various jurisdictions ![]() |
