The last couple weeks my FL2 has developed a strange sound/noise from 50Km/h upwards. The higher the speed the louder the noise. The sound is completely different from the engine sound and I think it comes for the rear of the car. It is noticeable especially with the windows closed. I do not have roof rails fitted and nothing is different on the car.

Thanks for the answers. I thought that maybe the rear diff had a problem but I didn't want even to mention. |

On the way to the dealer, I did the wheel test. It sounded that when I turn right the noise disappear. When we went for a test drive, the LR mechanic was almost sure that was the rear diff. Luckily when we lifted the car and we pressed the pedal with the wheels off the ground, the sound was definitely coming from the right rear wheel.
