United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Auto Santorini Black
Privacy glass / tints

Can anyone give advice on a reputable comapny in the surrey / sussex area who can tint the rear windows?

How much would this be for a decent job?

Thanks Santorini Black 61 FL2 TD4 S Auto, Debadged, Retrofit steering wheel controls, Black side vents with smoked repeaters and chrome bulbs, Black side tubes, Mudflaps front & rear, Black & Silver LR badges front, back & sides

Not sure down there Andy but from the 'B' post back £180-£200 seems avg around here. 'Proper' companies will remove the rear door inner side panels/cards so that they can get the film far enough down the window. Your going to be staring at it for years so don't go cheap - ask to see their work or visit the place when they are doing another car. Most films are UV blocking but check, most are guaranteed for the life of the car but check Thumbs Up

Personal choice I know, but I elected to have only the rear and side fixed windows done. To me it looks aesthetically better and only £100 worse off.

I know Taz, I'm hopelessly waiting for member 'Ghosty' to pop in and say he has a 'Lago Grey' one for sale Sad . I don't think it will happen so may have to buy a primer only one and get it sprayed Thumbs Up .

EyUp ey, that rear tint looks good and practical i recon to keep lookers out of the luggage/storage bit.

Where did you get it done ? and for what price ?

Hi Derryk, the guy who did it has his main business as vehicle sign writers, he's done a lot of sign writing for our work vans and has some premises just outside of Hull http://www.arm-signs.com/ so nothing nationally.
Just the two of them so you get the personal touch and £98 exactly for what I had done with the choice of tint, I chose 60%, just enough for privacy and reducing glare from lights behind you in the interior mirror.
