Just had 'Oil Service Due - Contact Dealer' message come up on the info screen, only done 12000 miles and its not 12 months old until mid March, provided the oil level is okay (will check later) would I be okay to go without servicing for another month? Im guessing my car was built mid Feb hence why its come up now rather than 12 months from when i took delivery?) Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

Got my FL2 booked in for service in a couple of weeks time but this morning i had the engine management light come on and "Reduced Engine Performance" come up on the info display, im guessing that this is related to the oil service message i had just over a week ago. Am I okay to carry on as normal until the service or should i call out LR Assist? I have just been out on a 40 mile round trip including some motorway driving and noticed only a slight lack of grunt that i normally have, other than that no other problems.
