The amount of Diff Bearings failing is concerning but, you only get to hear of the ones that fail and not the ones that have not, but saying that normally a Diff is fitted at the factory and forgotten. |

I don't believe this! Startstone are currently refusing to pay for the repair under warranty as it's "Wear and Tear" and not covered by their warranty! So P D Off I've only it had it just over a month!! Granted its used but whats the point of me paying £3000 extra for a car from a dealer if they just weasel out of paying. I might aswell of saved the 3k and bought it from a pikey! |

I'm surprised that you thought Crapstones were expensive. I bought my FL from them due to them being about £2k less than everyone else (and they bought my car for more than anyone else offered me).

I shouldn't of gone after a month after purchasing it though! And the only reason i bought from a dealer was to have peace of mind! I could of bought the same car privately for 3k less! |

If I was you I would politely and courteously give Land Rover customer services a call to see if they think it should be covered under the LR warranty - I assume as you bought from a LR dealer they gave you an official 12 month warranty? Losing your rag at LR customer services won't do any favours but being polite often wins the day

I bought it from a stratstone jaguar/landrover dealer on december 27th which came with 12 months warranty. On the landrover site it says all approved used cars come with 6 months select warranty if bought from a dealer with the option to upgrade to 12 or 24 months. If you read the warranty documentation it covers bearings in the diff!! Its an absolute joke.. |

Sorry you confused me by saying it had been diagnosed by Colliers. You need to go back again with the warranty paperwork..if they don't take any notice...off to trading standards! |

After many phone calls back and fourth they are finally footing the bill for the repair. Initial response from crapstone's warranty company VERY POOR! But I am pleased that the guy at Wolverhampton has sorted it out for me. |
