A few posts on here mention the sunroof leaking, blocked drain holes etc. I think there was also an early recall to have a drain tube re located.

Thanks for the reply. I have taken a look, not sure whether to go for it myself or not. Service due in 3 weeks. Thats a lot of time for water to get in though. |

Thinks a few have had the problem, i had the same issue not long after getting mine and the garage checked the sun roof drain pipe, but turned out to be the drain tube for the Air Con, think its located somewhere in the top of the passenger foot well |

Doesn't say the headlining is wet, just a likely source ![]() ![]() |

The headlining is getting wet behind the grab handle, that is how I identified it as a possible source. The air con suggestion is interesting but I feel unlikely as the problem is only occurring after a shower. Unless of course its a bit of both !! |

Had exactly the same problem on mine (twice), wet around the passenger grab handle and an inch of water in the passenger foot well.

Just been to the dealer - says it is the sunroof drain. He believes there was an update about 2 years ago - its only a clip around the tube to stop it popping off. They will be doing it in 2 weeks time at service. I have asked that as it was a 'known fault' that this should be done FOC. We shall see. |

It was a recall not an update and therefore should have been done already. It should certainly be FOC. |

The problem has been sorted. It was the sunroof drain tube coming detached on the passenger side. Re-fitted and secured with a cable tie. Dealer charged 30 mins labour only. |

Had the same problem, however it had another reason (not sunroof drain and not the air con drain):

Don't use silicon under any circumstances, you will cause rust. Use a Sikaflex car body sealer or teflon tape around the thread, gas pipe teflon tape is thicker. Use a hot dipped galvanized bolt M10. Do not use zinc plated bolts. If you use stainless thoroughly put teflon around the M10 thread. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
