SMUG LOOK ON MY FACE……….

Sat waiting for she who must be obeyed on a very steep hill whilst in a blizzard with maybe 10cm laying on the road,a pug 206 came sliding down sideways, the driver a woman had a look of sheer terror on her face lol,this was followed by a vw golf coming down backwards!!!,all ended up missing me and each other,i then proceeded to show them why its wise to own a FL2 and easily made my way up the hill with the said smug look on my face ….bliss Thumbs Up

had about 2-3 inches of snow by me, been out tonight but took ages - not due to the FL2 - she performed absolutely faultlessly but it was everyone else who could only manage 2-3mph and several others taking trials for 'Dancing on Ice'

FL2 = 1
Everyone Else = 0

Thumbs Up Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
Gone - 2014 BMW X3 M Sport Space Grey, faultless!
Gone - 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Bali Blue with xenons

And +1 again Doc,

Thanks guys Thumbs Up

Just got back from a call out tonight. A nurse was stuck at Codnor in her Punto and the roads were blocked with stuck cars. After passing many stuck 2WD cars I got there and took her to Ilkeston hospital. The whole journey of 20 miles took 2 hours!

FL2 was faultless as ever and the winter tyres with the 'snow groove' proved their worth.

What gets me is the fact that all the people in 2WD cars that were stuck have known about this incoming snow for at least 24 hours and yet rather than get home before it starts, the blithering idiots were still leaving the shops as the blizzard set in and getting stuck left right and centre.

For fu Censored sake!

Anyway, further adventures tomorrow Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

This is all so very painfull to read. here I am sitting down in snow-free Exeter, Avon Ranger Ice's at the ready, desparate to play & hardly a snowflake in sight!!!

& the really horrible part is that I have had to decide to part company with my beautiful balti blue 2010 TD4e HSE. It's proved just not big enough boot wise to take all the stuff you need with 2 grandchildren in child seats plus daughter & wife. Researching winter tyres for replacement Passat estate being picked up 22 feb, & hoping for some snow in the meantime soon.

Not a happy bunny at all, the Freelander 2 is such a great vehicle, but mine soon to be advertised ... sob ... please, please some snow down here before it goes!
