Therefore may we be allowed to extrapolate from that research that UK FL2 drivers are little angels Whistle and your insurance premiums (fully comp) are set at pennies rather than pounds Ner Ner

I would tend to agree with these findings.

on numerous occasions I've been sitting at the speed limit on the motorway ( usually M9 ) and passed by Discos and Range Rovers who must be doing at least 90mph.

they are as bad as X5 drivers now !!

I think one of the reasons is that any riff raff can drive a Range Rover ( usually a sport ) now, as they don't actually own it and either lease it or have it on a pcp, etc

used to be that if you drove a Range Rover you were "doing well", not now, just go into any big council housing scheme and they are everywhere !!

Yipee, the BMW 320D Msport is in there, it doesn't take einstein to work out that most of the cars on that list are on company car fleets, and it is a fact company car drivers do not treat those cars the way private individuals do

ps I agree about the RR lease anybody thing, they are ten a penny up here and i bet there is no equity in most of them, a 50 grand car outside an 80 grand house " de-rigeur" in Bradford ,but each to there own and i'm a miserable old Yorkshire git who begrudges parting with cash Laughing 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I agree Very Happy ,
The salesman did tell me that selling RRS's is a bit of a pain in the arse. as the majority of potential owners fail the credit check. more so than any other type of car than he has ever sold.
I just handed him a cheque on collection and drove off, but I am a very long term customer , and known to the bosses of the firm At work

This is odd, not only is the Freelander the slowest car I've owned in years, but it is also the one that I find by far the hardest to keep to the speed limit in.

(and my other car is a Focus RS with over 300 bhp....)

Is that because the focus slithers and slides over the road and the suspension jars your teeth? At work

Ouch! Some people with Range Rover Sports may find the RS' suspension jars the dentures and arthritis a bit.. Razz Laughing
