Please help....I own a Freelander 2, 2.2 and my dashboard is lit up... We had a towbar fitted back in 2010 and its maybe just coinsidence that the DSC light came on...Not all the time, some weeks nothing then some weeks it pings and stays on for months. I took it to my garage who put it on the diagnostic machine, and the code is U0136 which says lost communication with differencial control module (rear). Then this past couple of days another light, the airbags light, the diagnostic machine says B0070 drivers seat belt pre tensioner deployed control... I havent got a clue and Im one of these women who just scratch their heads and hang it in shame I do however have a lovely brother please help Always confused!!

the codes you give check out tp what you say they are for, so that is a start

What is the garages feeling on the reason the codes have come up?

and when you say garage is it a standard garage, Independent LR Garage or a actual LR garage  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The garage fella asked me when the original light DSC came on, we're just putting 2 plus 2 together...Might not be because of towbar fitting... and just an average garage man, not LR garage....
I've google fault codes and only finding stuff which I have no idea about, could be in spanish to me.. My wonderful brother is over at mine this weekend to help sort it....just dont know where to start. Always confused!!
