I'd be asking more questions - Pollen filter - due to be changed at 2nd service can only be accessed from inside the cabin as can the ODBC port to plug in machine for checking for due software upgrades and fault codes. I'm sure the also have to reset the service indicators from inside too....

If Copley are a LR dealership they are judged by LR on the level of service they give. They will lose their franchise if they are found to be charging for work that hasn't been done to standard. Other dealers take this very seriously indeed - I know because I've had a similar experience. Speak to the Dealer principal and tell him to get his finger out and get it sorted.

Ta DR the guy in charge there (on saturday anyway) told me they had changed filters 4 i think and on the invoice they have certainly charged me for the disposal of 4 filters.
Am just reading through the maintainance check sheet and it has been ticked for
REPLACE ALL FLEXIBLE BRAKE HOSES
RENEW COOLANT
APPLY LUBRICANT TO DOOR SEALS (russian and nordic markets only)

so much for attempting to keep a record of my car.

hello guys, Went back this morning and was valeted. that seems ok cleaned off the dirty marks alright.
the manager couldn't apologise enough.. i showed him the service sheet and asked for an explanation re EVERY box being ticked .. and also asked about the mechanic denieing being in the car (200%) He gave me a new service sheet acuratley filled, but for the rest he just offered excuses, and thats all they were .. just excuses for sloppy workmanship. Before i left he topped up the car with fuel and gave me a promise of £50 reduction off my 3rd service.
MMmmmmmm we'll see.

TBH I'd be checking the pollen filter myself - its a 2 minute job and well documented on here.

Mine didn't get changed on service before last even though box ticked and filter paid for.

Got 50% off next service and they rechecked all aspects of service before I got car back - so £50 sounds a bit light.
