Radio Security Code

Hi all! This may be a dumb question, but I'm going to charge my battery while disconnected. Will I then need a security code for the radio once it is reconnected and if so, where would I get that from?

Many thanks for the help As a man thinketh, in his heart so is he

As far as I am aware - if it is a factory fit stereo sytem - there isn't a code.

I'm sure others can confirm

But as so many owners (from time to time) remove the battery leads to do a hard reset of the cars electrics and tehre has been no mention of an stereo security code

Hope that helps in some way.... Thumbs Up 2002 Honda VFR800

Can confirm that factory fitted radios do not need a code. However, the radio display shows 4 lines when battery reconnected. Took me a while of cursing to realise that it needed the time inputting, not a code!! Dooh!! 2007 TD4 SE Manual Santrini Black
