Land Rover will be launching the Freelander2 TV advertising campaign this Sunday 7th January.

The first advert will appear at 6:20pm on More4 (Satalite channel) and then at 7:15pm on Skysports 1 and ITV4. It will finally hit terrestial tv at 9:20pm.

Don't forget to tune in.

They didn't need any kind of advertising campaign back then. There was already enough interest generated by the motoring press and talk on message forums like this one.

Now that there are a few Freelanders on the road, the advertisements will start to focus non Land Rover drivers towards the brand.

They need to do something - I have only seen one on the roads here (and that was one destined for the Dunkeld LRE!) where Freelander 1 is still very popular. A month after sales started I expected to see more of them around. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I've covered over 2500 miles in the past month and only seen one (on M5 near Worcester) also live just 4 miles from my dealership, so thought I might have seen more. At this rate mine will be the first I see locally!
