Carbodies = London cabs. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well.

I went past the factory outside Shanghai....very weird seeing the big sign with a London cab on it. The company which builds them was set up by a Chinese farmer who started out making bits for motorcycles. John

Strange how this thread has wandered..... First good luck to Tata if they make the Defender successor in India. Probably the only way to make it pay it's way and hopefully build quality will be nearer Freelie than Meccano...As others have said all cars are now a mash up (except Morgan, but what engines are they now using?) Difficult to 'Buy British!!'
As for Scots independance, I know little about Alex but he seems an effective politician, I believe other parties have called for votes for 16 so I do not think he is being oportunistic.
In another life I subscribe to a Salmon Fishing Forum with a large Scottish membership where there is currently a vigorous debate and poll on independance, currently c.55% against. As a scouser, living in London, but with 3 Scottish grandparents I have not voted. Of more concern is the price of free range chickens in my local Tesco, close on £10 for a medium sized bird, perhaps CG could comment..... Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
