Hi guys, I am sure this has been dealt with earlier; I've tried to find something about it, with no luck. Anyway, my questions about the "Terrain Response" Haldex traction are:
- Are there any speed restrictions in driving with the TR lever in "Snow" (i.e. on a hard, wet or slippery surface)?

- When I do set the "Snow" I will have "real 4x4" I suppose. But in normal mode, what are the ratios of traction on the front wheels and rear wheels respectively?

The last question is actually to know whether the Freelander will behave like a front-wheel drive in normal mode (e.g. understeer, load reaction from the rear, etc.).

No speed restrictions in any mode as far as I know. Using the snow setting not only adjusts the torque split, it also uses a faster rate monitoring the wheels, it softens the throttle response (longer pedal movement required to get the same engine torque response, it also changes the ABS strategy to allow a bit more locking time on the wheels (allowing a small wall of snow/gravel to build up in front of the locked tyre.
Torque splits F/R are:
Normal 90/10
Grass. gravel, snow 60/40
Mud & ruts 50/50
Sand 50/50 Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

Prior... 2003 G4 Discovery 2, 1998 Disco 1 and 1997 Disco 1 Company car before that

No, it has DSC defaulted to on and will attempt to correct oversteer and understeer by braking each wheel and taking over the power in extreme circumstances.
