The real permit is $10 for 3 days or $30 a year. Get it at the service station on the round about at Lavis Lane. Let your tyres down and turn the dsc off. If you can, it is well worth doing a tagalong tour. They will show you the ropes on sand driving, points of interest along the beach and dunes, and pull you out of trouble when you get stuck . Be careful where you camp. You don't want to be run over by a knucklehead zooming over a dune. Cheers. |
