Hi Frans, it does happen on occasions and there seems to be no reason for it. The first time it happened with mine was 1 week from new, the drivers side mirror tried to close but refused, I tried to reset it by pushing/pulling as in the manual but no good and the next day it was OK and has never happened since

Mine were creaking a bit when i bought it. The lovely chaps on here had suggested the spray to someone else so i bought some. I just sprayed as far into the 'workings' of it as i could and it's fine now 59 TD4e XS in galway green |

use silicone spray and not WD40. |

Remember to rinse the dirt out when washing and then a quick sparay of Halfords finest silicone! |

That is my problem!How do you rinse it out.....pressurewasher Or do you open it Seems as the bottom can come off,not sure how and I don't want to break it 2008 FL 2 TD4 SE A/T

No-one on here has mentioned having to take it apart for this, grab hold of it and give it a good push then pull, you won't break it as you will feel it click back to its correct position.
