another tyre question!!

Can I fit 255/55 18 tyres? I am about to change them but dont want to if it will cause rubbing problems.

Thanks but not really the answer I was looking for.
Are there any good 235/60 18 tyres out there?

Depends what you mean by good. There are plenty of good road bias tyres but no off road or A/T tyres in that size.

Other posts elsewhere on this forum will tell you that 255 tyres will rub the wheel arch on full left lock and may have an adverse effect on fuel consumption. Ignore Dunroof's advice at your peril. Moving away from LR specified tyre size and/or speed rating will invalidate your insurance unless you tell your insurance company. They will regard it as a wheel/tyre modification and increase your premium accordingly. John
