England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Rimini Red
Sat Nav and Radio/Cd Muted

Set the SatNav, no voice guidance. Checked it was not turned off and it wasn`t. Tried the radio and CD also no sound.

Next journey sound to both is restored and no problem since.

What`s that all about ?

Just noticed, others have had this problem, apparently a software update sorts the problem. First time it has happened to me in 25k miles.

Don`t think it was a tea break, but did notice the gin looked a bit low in the bottle. Wife claims it wasn`t her. I`ll keep an eye on it, I may not be able to afford Sally SatNav if this behaviour continues.

I used to have an 07 model and it did this a couple of times, put it down to inserting the fob and pressing the start button to quickly thus not allowing the ignition to boot up fully so to speak.
