It has certainly proved that weather bloke wrong. Very mild winter and I would put money on mild winters in future as I think the last few cold winters have given the cold weather it's turn so now it's the turn of the mild winters again. I have no expertise of weather just the good old sods law theory (thank god I didn't shell out for the tyres).

Mind you, if I had some spare time I could have a gentle wander up to the cat and fiddle because there is always a mandatory snowfall there and it's not too far. A chance to test the serrated snow groove with some hefty driving in my manual FL2, yeah baby Whistle Laughing LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I used to ride to the Cat and Fiddle most weekends on my bike.
It was always blowing a gale up there!
Dunno if it's still used by bikers today Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Cat n Fiddle and Snake have been compulsory "TT Training" with motorcyclists since I first had a go back in the 60's Razz
No doubt it will remain so in 2060, that's if the Nanny State hasn't banned powered 2 wheel transport by then Evil or Very Mad

The only thing you can speed on over those roads now are a push bike, the powers that be havnt brought in registration for those yet Rolling Eyes

The road is so dangerous these days, diots (some) on bikes along with idiots (some) in souped up cars all battling for supremacy, years ago an unwritten code was in play between riders/drivers, nowadays attitudes have changed and the whole country is full of selfish knuckle draggers, who believe they have a god given right to do as they please.......Rant over
