12 months on

Ouch, that's the problem after you buy a new car, one year on and everything falls in the same month.
The Road Tax comes in at £210, not too bad for the SD4.
The service is due in two weeks, that one is coming in at £310.
The insurance, Last year LR insurance was £280 something, this year £293.54 Thumbs Up then I told them I had picked up two SP30's and six points so another £100.09 was added for that bringing it to £393.63. Still reasonable though Thumbs Up

So an expensive month at £913.63. Shocked Sad

Yes, time flies when your'e enjoying yourself James. I'm very much still enjoying it with no problems other than a slight 'boy racer' boom from the exhaust at 2000rpm. At most it has drunk half a litre of oil in 14,700 miles, so yeah it's good.

I have also slowed down considerably else I won't make it through this year. Laughing

Me and Ad1234567 will call in one day for the VIP treatment, least of all to upstage Nick, he think's he's special Rolling Eyes

s Censored t Nick, how easy it is to put over the message wrong, I was joking as well, perhaps the 'rolling eyes' was not the one to use, it should have been Whistle Thumbs Up

Superspark, It was unlucky, I just accelerated on the same dual carriageway (different places) and didn't realise, but no excuses it was my own doing. Smile

EDIT:Oh and I'm not calling you s Censored t Nick, I meant s Censored t ....... Nick, oh I give up Embarassed

we had the same thing! 1 year on and Tax, Insurance and Service all fell in the longest month!

only had one issue in the year with the fuel flap which had a TSB and was sorted with the service

Just picked up an SP30 myself, 1mph over the threshold.......speed awareness course for me. Big Cry

James@LPR, if LR listen to you, then some sort of speed limiter in addition to cruise would be good, had it no the Merc, set it at whatever speed, you do the driving but it will not let above the set speed unless kickdown was used then it would override as needed, great feature and sorely missed.

As an aside, last time I was in LPR I got the china Thumbs Up other means of holding coffee molecules were available though.

I bought a fixed price service package to lessen the blow, £1790 for services up to and including 90,000 miles, works out around £300 a service.

Big Cry before my two SP30's I'd already done the course to save points and can't do another for 18 months.
