According to 'experts' they would not be able to tell as it would emulsify into the diesel, but then these experts could not or would not provide any proof it worked either

I must add that BMW actually carried out a lot of research & testing adding 2t to their diesel cars as they were having problems with cars in some countries. Now somewhere there is a 12 page report on their findings.

All I can says is our Fiesta TDCi drives so much better with 25ml of 2T added to a tank of diesel. make it pull like a train at low revs and much much quieter . The difference is far far greater than filling it with a tank of super Derv!

My Pals 2.0TDCi Jag started running on 30ml of 2t ii June last year and he said he is shocked at how much quieter and the smoke reduction is massive. He says it starts quicker, improved MPg which we get with our Fiesta as well as a bonus.

On another forum there is an enthusiast who stripped his diesel engine after 170,000KM's and photographed all the components & unless he washed them all first they are so clean, including the EGR valve & he had used 2t from day 1. Thumbs Up

The point I am trying very hard to make is that (for 3rd time)

Standard 2T (non synthetic) is the same chemical substance by chemical formula as diesel fuel it has the identical profile on analysis so is NOT an additive. It becomes part of the fuel in entirety so would NOT show on analysis.
All standard pump fuels (petrol and diesel) have additives added when tankers are filled for delivery to stations, the additives vary according to which brand Shell, Esso, Supermarket etc. These all show on analysis and are accepted. Proprietory additived such as Forte, Redex etc although excellent products would be instantly traceable. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.
