SWMBO finally "convinced" me to buy a bike - the exercise and fresh air will do you good!
So I bought one with a decent battery and an electric motor (manages 12mph up hill with my weight and minimal pedalling)
Every time we went out, we got 2-3 miles from home and the heavens opened, had to shelter in the nearest pub sometimes for hours
