Mr Pinks
Here in Switzerland that Dynamic Lux Si4 will cost you - with all options available at today's FX rates GBP56,150 - but that's not "On the Road" price as this will vary depending upon which Kantone you live in. In our Kantone that would work out an extra GBP600 approximately.

Now if the GBP strengthens then those prices will increase!!

The price in AndyC land you ask - Hmmmm do you realy want to know Laughing

Several days after the days tryout, Mr. Salesman made me an offer for a similar spec. SD4 Dynamic 5-door. which included a fare number of extras including an extra sett of alloys with winter tyres.

The price quoted was 768000 Norwegian Kroner which is just over £84,000,- at todays exchange rate, but that price did also include a £1900 discount Laughing

How many FL2's would that buy in the UK I wonder? 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Yes, so let's have no more nonsensical talk of "Rip-Off" Britain - fill your garages with Land Rover's and Jaguars - don't keep Johnny Foreigner in work.

Makes you laugh (or cry) when you see members of the Institute of Directors or Leaders of Trade Unions shouting about lack of investment in UK manufacturing or job redundancies and then they drive home in their Mercedes wearing suits from Milan, or drive the Kia in H&M shirt n trousers from Asian sweat-shops, then watch TV on their Sony eating dinner cooked on their Panasonic cooker with food out of their Bosch fridge. All the time their clothes are washed by their Indesit washer and come Sunday Jeremy mows his lawn with his sit on Husqvarna or Fred uses his Flymo.

They, the IoD and TUC (and Joe Public) reap what they sow. And everyone blames everyone else.

Lets hope the FL3 has the Evoque front end and interior, the FL2's command driving position and practicality and a price tag similar to what it is now - I'll buy one!!

However, when exactly is the FL3 going to emerge??? The emphasis seems to be on the two versions of the defender now and recent makeovers of the D4, RRS and FFRR? The FL2 must be Landrovers biggest seller and the longer they leave its replacement the more the competitors produce superior models - LR need to get the FL3 underway - and sharpish!!

I agree that a FL3 with features thet shilen mentioned would be something to wish for sometime in the future. In the meantime the FL2 may have been LR's biggest seller, but I bet that is is not now. And when "biggest seller" is mentioned please take into account exported vehicles from the UK and I think you will find that the FL2 is almost an extinct export vehicle thanks to the Evoque. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Thats the only BIG NEGATIVE as far as I can see - it dont open - just a big glass window on the roof.
Now if LR was really to get serious it would open like on the VW Tiguan. Unfortunatly LR in a nutshell Rolling Eyes 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Just had our Evoque delivered, the boot size being small is a major issue for me coming from a FFRR.

Wife's SD4 Freelander has more punch on acceleration than the Evoque, I guess I am still being gentle with it with only 50 miles on the clock.

The Evoque handles very well, we specified mangaride suspension, it is however very firm compared with a Freelander and crashes in pot holes. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury Corris Grey
