Nope your not the only one, there's me and a few others

We had one not so long ago, it was a good day out

We could always arrange day out for those with guns and maybe a couple of non shooters and just have a clay bashing meet

If we used our own guns, loan it to a non shooter for their turn, then it works out so much cheaper

I did 300 clays on tuesday, between 3 of us it was £20 each plus cartridges

Obviously I couldn't turn up with 10 people and one gun though Laughing

I don't know!!! If you get the 10 people to run around fast enough it'll take a while to shoot them all - perhaps clays would be better Laughing 2002 Honda VFR800

I went to both Kelbrook Lodge and Coniston this afternoon , the weather was awful up at Kelbrook , so we headed off to Consiston, where it looked great untill we got changed and ready to go, The rain was blowing sideways, the wind was evil , it was perishing, so bear in mind what it can be in those places in January ! still we knocked off ( may be that should be "shot in the general direction of " Big Cry ) 170 between two of us before common sense dictated we head for the pub

I think the "clays only" prices are the same at both grounds £20/£25 per 100 member/non member.

I'm up for a clay bashing meet NP Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Tuesday at Parklodge was a gorgeous day, sunny, warm no wind

I could see coniston been quite bad when it's blowing a gale with it set in a valley

Not been to kelbrook, might have to look it up some day

Parklodge is that the one off the 62 towards Goole ? if that is the one it's got some nice high towers that make me want to give up shooting!

Kelbrook is nice if it's quiet, if it's busy there are too many traps too near each other and it can be confusing, but they can put good targets on 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Yes that's the one

Yep, the towers are high, they traps were right at the top too on Tuesday, managed to get one though, just one mind you Laughing

They had a good driven partridge stand there, literally flying over my head and nearly on the end of my gun, but still missed a few Embarassed

yeah count me in, I got my own gun and dont mind lending it to others to use, its a high rib trap gun though as I mainley shoot DTL rather than sporting but to be fair I can miss with anything Wink lol

Worsley is not a bad ground for a sporting shoot but maybe a little pricey and also gets very busy. I am open to suggestions, I would suggest where I normally shoot (Bolton Gun Club) but sadly we are trying to locate new grounds at the moment as the current locations been sold off and we have been kicked off Sad 2007 '57' Freelander 2 XS Sumatra Black TD4 Automatic - Standard (for now!)
