Don't know part number but they are about £100 - don't waste your money they look crap and I was pleased when someone nicked mine.

They really look awful !
The only smart exhaust I have seen on a Diesel is Mav71 where he has fitted an I6 twin chrome tail pipe & I have to say it looks wicked.

Hi Redlabel, Just looked up Tromsoe on the map, you are well north and must be a good advert for the capabilities of the Freelander. I was in Alesund a few years ago and wet myself with how people drive in Norway, they just drive as normal in snow, unlike here where everything stops when we get 10mm of the white stuff. Respect for Norwegian drivers

haha yes indeed the cars up here get pushed to their limits.
When we take the car license we have to go through a period of driving on snow with all the handling that it requires. Also when we have snow most part of the year you learn the techniques pretty fast

One other major part is the tires!! We don't mess around with all seasons tyres and that kind of crap! Studs and DSC turned off makes the FL2 a great and very stable and predictable car to drive.
I actually went from a Audi A4 B7 1.8TQ to the FL2 and I was very surprised with the control you can take over the car. The Audi was insane, but the FL2 is pretty good for a SUV.

The only climate issue I have had with the car up here is the bad coils. Those made the car hard to start when temp dropped below -5 degrees Celsius. Changed them last winter and has not had any issues since.(beside the bad PDC sensors and the phukked servo....)

All in all a car certified for cold and harsh climate.  FL2, TD4 HSE

I nearly bought the conversion kit a week or two ago but my husband didnt fancy me having the exhaust chopped etc so i didnt bother I should have just done it ha ha.

I like that colour. Havent seen that colour before  59 TD4e XS in galway green

redlabel, is the exhaust as easy as a straight swap, like disconnecting from the pipe bracket in front of the silencer and replacing, and are there any extra 'hangers' that fit to the body and/or are they in the same place .

The exhaust really sets the back off nicely.

Thanks guys. They are sitting on 275\45\20 wheels.. Not very offroad, but they make the ride very stable and nice. Not unconfortable at all.
