Name the dealer, sounds like good service to me. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

I bet it was the hand brake, had coursed the problem (The shoe spreader are know to seize up, holding the hand brake shoe ON)

Hope you gave as good as you got, despite the season of good will. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

woo hoo sounds like a fun Christmas for you! If I recall LR had problems with batches of brake pads that were delaminating when wet causing the brakes to self activate! |

CG, be careful! You know what happens when you upset people who know where you live. Merry Christmas. Ralph

Had a similar issue and attending LR recovery technician said a lot of dealers don't adjust the handbrake correctly which can lead to the adjuster seizing. Watched him adjust the handbrake so will do it myself from now on (i'd already mentioned to dealer that hand break wasn't right but, came back in same state after service) .... The siezed ajjuster had totally destroyed on brake shoe and deep score in drum so also had new disks/shoes/pads urn warranty 2008 Freelander2 GS TD4
