The best van is going to be what lay out suits you. I think if you got kids fixed beds are not family friendly, only good if your just a couple.

depends on how big the van is, mines no problem with fixed beds & two children in the twentys that still insist on coming away everytime we go Whistle

Cant beat the fixed bed, just the two of us now so we dont have the problem that EY has Wink

Taken whilst enroute to Halewood earlier this year.

As per Oldgeezer, no problems in holding a steady rate Wink shame about the Censored Tractors holding every thing up, and for depositing the fields on the roads, should not allow tractors on the roads except for between midnight and five past.

oldgeezer I was thinking more on the lines of young kids. I'm on my 2nd fixed bed and it's great, but in the past when the kids needed to sleep you'll having to make the seating area up into beds,so you lost your living area.

Yeah I'm lucky now because we go to bed before the kids !!!! Whistle
I'm hoping soon they will get their own caravan Thumbs Up

Actually for two years we had a Bretange with the fixed rear bunks, brilliant when the kids were smaller Thumbs Up
But now the kids have grown up as tall as me Bunks are not pratical.

I don't have that problem with just the two of us now, we make a bed up each night but could imagine it a bind for a family of four with an end washroom. Ours is smallish and cosy Thumbs Up

I think a fixed bed will be a priority with the next one.

Sorry Alf, we seem to sidetracked a little Whistle
