David, glad to hear your delivery is on schedule. Can I ask which towbar and electrics option you've gone for and, if you don't mind, how much the towbar cost? I will need a towbar on mine but haven't decided which one to go for yet. I'll be using mine to tow a caravan

These dealers are inconsistent about workshop visits, I've been in on two occasions when I was wanting to see different colours and specs.

Hi Avtur
The tow bar I am having fitted is a swan neck & S&N type electrics, I only want to tow a trailer, you will need twin electrics for your caravan
Cost of my tow bar inc vat £446.50 fitted, this will have a 3year warranty.
You can buy a removeable tow bar but they are expensive
All the best to you for Christmas and the new year

Yeh, but they look a lot better when not in use and there is no messy tow ball to get your trousers dirty on when it has been stowed away. I have the removable one on my RRS and it is great. I don't know about the F2 system but the RRS and D3 have a removable plate in the rear bumper that hides all the sockets and the recovery eye when they aren't being used, it also keeps all the dirt out of the sockets in wet and grotty weather. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

David, do you really expect a Land Rover product to fit into a standard garage.............. ??
I only just managed to fit the F1 through my garage door pillars, and that caused major domestic upheaval as I had to clear out all the 6 years worth of junk that had accumulated in there since my 1st Disco arrived! The F2, even with the wing mirrors folded will fit with 5mm each side, once in there I would be able top open all the car's doors fully though! My RRS will just make it with 2mm each side which is just a tad too tight for my liking! In this wet weather my LR's go mud plugging every time they go on my drive as they are too wide for that adn for a visitor to walk up the slabs so now I have a set of mud tracks up the narrow strip of lawn between my house and my neighbour and muddy tracks on the street every time I go out Laughing At least I also have muddy sidewalls on the tyres all the time which keeps the anti's at bay. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

As usual with Land Rovers, this has been a problem for anybody owning everything from a F2 base model through to an Autobigraphy FFRR who has the PTI/BT How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
