My pal has a 61 plate Q5. Nice car, but definitely more a "car" than a 4x4 or SUV or whatever (you choose). Although it is new I cannot get excited about it. I prefer my Freelander all round but for ONE thing: The Audi Sat Nav is so good, graphics, function, etc. It puts the LR version to shame - I definitely have a crap nav! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

And they didn't even test them in the snow! Then the X3 and Q5 would have been stuck in the snow while the FL2 drove of. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack. |

You would not pay BIK tax on any contribution you make. If you have a £30k car, and pay for example £500 torwards it, your BIK tax bill would be based on £25000 and not £30,000. the government can't charge BIK tax on something you have paid for. Oil usage must have changed. In the 90s various family members had a couple of A4 & a couple of A6. Not one of them used a drop of oil. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

In the last 10 years we have had 3 new TDi Audis. 2 A3s which drank oil - we had 2 spare bottles in the boot at all times. Audi said this was ok. Never had a problem with either car. Did lots of miles.
