Thank you for all the advice. I eventually opted for a witter bar and dedicated single electrics from PHJones-excellent service.
Witter bar came with good instructions but was a to fit on my own,mainly due to weight and hand size!
Wasn't really looking forward to electrics bit,but good clear instructions again,worse part was getting trim off boot side. Plugged in and fitted in less than an hour,all working even foglights shut off on car when connected and trailer illuminates on dash for indicators,without the need for diagnostic programming!
