Did the Romford garage not work out for your repair?

yes they did a great job mate. when they put the drive shaft in they noticed the splines were worn. i was hoping to get away with it but no such luck.

I know its a bit cheeky, but can you tell us how much they charged for the rear diff repair?

hi.....sorry for the delay. been rushed off my feet. i have spoken to the garage today to get prices from them...if you take the car to them complete and ask them to take the diff out and replace all bearings they will do it for £500

for sending them the diff in the post it would be £350 + carrage.

the only think they stipulate is that the casing and gears must be ok. they would let you know if there was an issue.


i do think £500 was a great price myself.
