United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red

Many thanks, much better than the multi file bits previously available
Word of warning, this is the 2007 version. My printed version is 2009, there is probably a 2011 version. So watch out for year differences........... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

I've added the 2010 version.

If someone wants a specific one, then:
- Go to http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com
- Select the car/model and build year and press Find.
- Go to Owner tab (upper right).
- Select on the left menu the Owner's Handbooks option.
- Select in the list the desired manual.

Yes, the printed version that came with my TD4e HSE (reg c March 2010 & bought 18 mths later) was also copyright 2009 as is the version at Topix.

One difference to the 2007 one I came across was the first service specs. My handbook didn't initially arrive with the car & I was quite concerned over the uncertainty over its initial service record according to 2007 requirements. But all was ok (& different) when the handbook arrived.

England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Baltic Blue

Many Thanks great to have a PDF version in the house rather than going out in the cold to get it.

I downloaded the FL2 2012 Workshop manual from Topix in it's many parts, do you have a "one piece" PDF of that as well?

John.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

Hi,

I am one of those sad individuals who has read the handbook from cover to cover immediately after purchasing my 2013 Freelander HSE and then went out to try out all the various functons... I was particularly pleased with the timed climate control (as described in the handbook) and spent time programming this. But I couldn't understand why it didn't actually operate the auxillary heater.

I went to the dealer to complain who told me that 'Freelanders don't have fuel operated 'auxillary heaters' and we have now deleted that timed climate control functionallity from your LED screen menu'.

So I am rather perplexed over why the Freelander 2013 handbook contains information on functionality whcih doesn't actually exist - is this incompetence/ a sales ploy or somewhere across the globe, Freelanders do have this functionality?

yours confused.

The handbooks contain a fair bit of info that is out of date, inaccurate, or incomplete. Try the section on "driving in Europe" for example - headlamp adjustment requires missing info, removing the light units on a chilly dockside, or sometimes a magic wand! Still haven't worked out how to do mine. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.
