The 2011 Australia's Best Car Winners have just been published.

The Freelander 2 diesel XS comes in 8th place behind the Kia Sorento SLi (d) but the FL2 is the only SUV that scores 10 for its off-road ability .
Also for the category "Best All-Terrain 4WD" the Land Rover Discovery 4 SDV6 SE take out the top honours.

G'day AndyC, The Toyota Kluger is, I think, not sold in Europe or the UK, but sold in the USA under the name 'Highlander' and here as the Kluger, because Hyundai own the name 'Highlander' in Oz. It's a large 7 seat soft off roader, available in either 4 or 2 wheel drive, and is quite popular, having lots of room, some ability off road, and perceived Toyota reliability. It's not that much smaller than a Toyota Landcruiser.

Fair to say its a big Rav 4? Six cylinder petrol motor. I don't know how they sell them but they certainly are popular. Rubbish name
