Northern California off-roading photos

Thought you guys would enjoy these.

Installed a hitch, stock roof rack, mantec skid plates, General Grabbers AT2 255/60/R18, and a rear access ladder. Also made a hitch-mount for the winch. Looking to install a front hitch, rooft-top basket, and lift kit.

Nice shots. It looks like you were with a few heavy hitters by the looks of those Wranglers. Smile A few extra inches in clearance would be good wouldn't it?

D99 - I used a set of General Grabbers. Wrote a quick review about them here: http://sam.odio.com/2011/11/29/review-gene...tires-lr2/

LR2 did well, but struggled several times due to low clearance. One pro: the LR2 had a much better driving position, I felt like I could see more of the trail. In the jeep it was hard to see much over the hood/bonnet. Installed a hitch, stock roof rack, mantec skid plates, General Grabbers AT2 255/60/R18, and a rear access ladder. Also made a hitch-mount for the winch. Looking to install a front hitch, rooft-top basket, and lift kit.

sro thanks.. always nice to see people taking the time to provide feedback, im using the new grabber A/T and although they don't look quite as aggressive as the AT2, so far so good. Although i haven't had them in the snow yet, and because they are fairly new there aren't alot of reviews yet.
