has anyone removed their towbar and electrics.

I hope to be upgrading my FL soon, and want to keep it.

Any tips, or TOPIX pictures

detachable or fixed tow bar?

Mines detachable, bumber was already off (and in several pieces ), follow the wiring loom, it plugs in in the wheel well. The tow bracket if I remember rightly has 4 main bolts that attach to the chassis, there are also 4 small nuts hidden behind the bumper.
When you have removed the tow bracket the right hand (looking at the rear) bracket must be removed and refitted to the car as it has the rear towing eye attached.
You may be left with a cut in the bumper where the tow ball was.

Would dearly love to post pictures but mines been away for a while -I do just love arguing the **** with insurance companies.  Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

fixed, no obvious cut in bumper.
Good info on the electrics.

Seems easy to remove and refit, will save a fortune on buying a replacement,
especially as a Towbar adds little value on resale / partex.

Must have one to add my cycle carrier to.

Trailers.
