If the pollen filter is dirty, it stays damp and therefore blows damp air into the car causing it to steam up. This is the first thing I would change before you start messing with the A/C. Don't forget, ALL air that comes into the cabin goes through the pollen filter.
I change mine every 18 months or so, my car is 5 years old next year and it doesnt steam up, the A/C is nice and cold and it has never had a re-charge.
Good point. Don't LR do that on the 'B' service though, in which case it would have been changed in March?? Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass
