Looks very like an LR version of the 3 door Toyota RAV4 (now no longer available).

Sorry to trawl this up from the deep....anyone heard any more about it? Hope it's one of the new JLR models - there's a big market for this new sized LR in the Yeti/Juke/Rav4 sector...including from me |

If you look at the recent announcement about LR taking on 1000 new employees at Solihull there was mention of something like 40 new models or derivatives coming in the next few years. I believe that Halewood is about to go to, or is already doing 3 shift production and that Solihull will also be doing the same shortly in an attempt to meet the demand for current models and prepare for some of the new ones. |

Halewood is currently running round the clock and on a three shift system, this is what we were told at Halewood recently. |

Has to be in the pipeline, especially as the FL2 can only get bigger and dearer in the end. To make money and to reduce group emissions, a 15 - 20k car is needed. |

I agree, though I imagine the gap they'll aim for will be £20k- £30k in view of the very high starting cost of the comparitively small Evoque range. Life is not a dress rehearsal! |

Yes really about time we saw the fruits of the taxpayers cash on helping LR develop e terrain technologies. I think it appears with the RR next year? |

I thought L513 is LRX? In any event, don't get carried with the jump in number from 359 to whatever. Project no's are almost decided on a whim. I've known them to change part way through a programme just to thow the scent. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |

It looks ole a really bad photoshop of an fl2 an Weil and the stupid sports defender thing they recently put to public test. Either way I can't imagine anything looking like that coming out of halewood too soon Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints |
