hi had new turbo fitted 3wks ago since fitted when engine starts from cold at 1.800 rpm to 2.000 rmp engine seems to shake, if it was a petrol car the symtoms are as though too mutch choke does anbody eslses do this

also when on the motorway in 5th gear at approx 60mph when you accelarate when at the revs of approx 2,000 i get a vibration through the car like engine is struggling a bit till turbo takes over then it goes like the clappers going back to dealer again to day i hope it just needs setting up properly not bad for a brand new car now been back approx 12 times for flat spot thay seem to cure one and i get another related fault  rainy-city

That does not sound great. Was it under warranty, or you pay for it?

Take it back and insist they fix it ! That does not sound right at all !

turbo was done under warranty, back in dealer to day thay have done an engine re set on the computer all seems to be ok at the moment drives very good now possable it was not done when new turbo ws fitted,  rainy-city

I have to ask why are so many dealers totally inept at just checking & making sure all these bits are reset and faults cleared ! They all seem just as bad as one another.
When my one fitted the EGR valve they didnt bother clearing the code, nor did they for the crash sensor they replaced or all the other bits !
very poor service and after care !
