United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Definitely could do better.

Sold my 3 year old GS manual for more than that last year.

Check out landrovers own website to see what they put them on the forecourts for - you will be very surprised.

Unless they are giving you a HUGE discount on a new car deal tell them to re-think.

Losing £9k over 2 years sounds a lot

Selling it as I am unimpressed with the economy, struggling to get more than 35mpg despite driving like a nun

Don't understand why your mpg is so low. I regulary get in the 40's and only mid 30's on short runs. I've even managed just over 50 on a slow A road over 40 miles!

Maybe you do mostly short runs? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Dealer asking price is going to be IRO £20k. If you are going for a straight sale the price may well be the best to expect but a straight sale is a buyers market. You will always be saying to yourself "if only I kept it". Big Cry Reality check - no-one ever buys a LR for economy! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I'm pretty sure that I have read on here that if you go into a dealer they log the price they offer you on the LR database, when you go to another dealer they just tap in your reg no and the details appear before them, that's why all the offers are around the same price.

Bought it cos the missus wanted one, safe for the kids etc. I drove it to Durham from Glasgow, frugally, it returned 40mpg Shocked . I am thinking of replacing it with a Prius! LR want £470 to service it, and I'm looking at the same again for tyres. Jesus H........
